Hello! Today, I want to tell you guys about my favorite places in
UKM. Before this, if you have read my first posting, you would know that I love
to read. Well, other than reading, I love to walk around and explore places
too! Especially when I have a lot of things on my mind. When I'm stress, I
usually prefer to go to high places— to watch the view. One of my favorite
high places is Fakulti Kejuruteraan dan Alam Bina's rooftop. No worries, the place is TOTALLY safe! From up there, we
can see the view of Tasik Fakulti Kejuruteraan dan Alam Bina or as what my
friends and I usually called, Tasik Kejut.
Next is Tasik Kejut! This lake is located behind the Fakulti
Kejuruteraan dan Alam Bina (FKAB). I usually come here whenever I feel like
exercising. The place is very serene and calming too. There are lots of gazebos
and benches too if you just want to sit around and enjoy the view. If you want
to enjoy some hot drinks while you are at the lake, you can just walk into FKAB
and find the hot drinks vending machine. I have made lots of sweet memories here
with my ex-classmates during my foundation year. Maybe I'll tell you guys about
it in my next posting! Here are a couple of Tasik Kejut's pictures that I
managed to find in my phone :)
Well, if you noticed, I love to be surrounded by trees and nature. The
last place in my list that I want to share is Taman Herba, UKM. It is also
called Taman Paku Pakis. It is located near Fakulti Ekonomi dan Pengurusan and
Kolej Aminuddin Baki. The first time I explored this place was with my
ex-classmates during my foundation year. We usually walked from Pusat Permata
Pintar Negara or also known as Pusat Genius Pintar Negara to our college, Kolej
Pendeta Zaaba. To shorten the distance of our walk, we went into the Taman
Herba as our shortcut.
Actually, there are a lot of other places that you can explore in
UKM. If you are one of the adventurous people, go out and explore these places!
You can explore the shortcut to Kolej Pendeta Zaaba behind the Fuel Cell
Institute or the shortcut that I usually took to reach Pusat Permata Pintar
Negara‒you can walk from EIMAS and you’ll pass by ‘Rumah
Tumbuhan’. You can also bring your friends to explore ‘Hutan Simpan Kekal UKM’.
Well, that’s the end of my post. Thank you for reading!
